Lianne grew up in Kendal in The Lake District, North West England. Performance has always been a focus in her life, beginning from 4 years old as a majorette. She competed in the Universal Championships every year gaining 1st place 3 years in a row and being awarded ‘Leader of the Year’ 2006.
She joined the renowned Stagecoach at age 10, and performed roles such as Calamity Jane, Maria in West Side Story and Sandy in Grease.
She actively sought performance and was a loyal member at the Brewery Youth Theatre and Brewery Youth Dance. As well as an actor, Lianne is a keen dancer specialising in contemporary dance and movement as theatre performance. For Brewery Youth Theatre, she undertook roles such as Mrs Hepworth in Hobson ’s Choice and Amy in Citizenship for the National Theatre Shell Connections.
She became part of the ensemble in the professional Christmas Pantomime performed at The Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal and then when she was 18 in 2005, she successfully gained an acting role as Tootles, the lost boy in Peter Pan.
In 2006, Lianne successfully gained a place at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama on the 3 year BA Honours Acting Degree . She undertook a vigorous and versatile training working with the likes of Catherine Alexander (Complicite), John Wright (Told by an Idiot), Declan Donnellan (Cheek by Jowl), Helen Heaslip (Frantic Assembly).
She graduated in 2009 with a FIRST CLASS HONOURS.
